From a small monastery brewery, the Banja Luka Brewery has grown into a large and modern brewery with a production capacity sufficient for the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina market and beyond.
The hard work and knowledge of generations of experienced brewers produced an uncompromising quality, which long ago enabled Banja Luka Brewery to cross the borders of the region and become the most recognizable brand from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Exactly 151 years ago, in a small town near Banja Luka, with the murmur of the Vrbas River, the brave little Banja Luka brewery was created by the hard work of Trappist monks from the Marija Zvijezda monastery.
